A kinetic novel made for the O2A2 VN Jam 2025, a micro Visual Novel jam with strict asset limitations and a 1000-word limit.
Play through an interactive conversation between Fujiko Mine and Daisuke Jigen, stranded together at a bus stop in the rain.
As a kinetic novel, there are no player choices to be made in this game. Featuring our very first web browser build!
Functionality notes:
- Downloading the game is recommended for optimal performance.
- Playing in a desktop browser is fully functional, but laggy. Performance is typical of VNs in browser.
- Playing in a mobile browser is possible, but not recommended. Some UI elements are misaligned and performance is typical of playing VNs on mobile.
The browser build was only tested in Firefox on PC and iPhone. If you're using another browser/platform and run into problems, please let us know!

I really enjoyed Jigen's expressions, his smile made me smile! Great dynamic in the dialogue, and a wonderful use of limited assets. The tone felt good, the flow was pleasant and I would've read an even longer version though I know you had a text limit though and you did great with it! Thanks for sharing this gem.

I like how this feels like a slice of their existing dynamic. There's a good metaphor for how these two aren't going anywhere, for better or for worse, as both frustration and reassurance.
The art itself is so nice and soft, with a moody quality. I think I'd be compelled by it even if it wasn't Jigen that I got to look at while playing!
I'm so glad!! That's exactly what I was going for: just an average moment spent between them. I think their relationship is really underrepresented in fan works outside of the most surface-level read of their dynamic, so I wanted to show their care for each other. Thank you again for playing!!
